Which is to say it is a "book" free of the "chap"...
So much depends
upon
a Ron's comment
box
glazed with poet
spit
besides the steaming
shit

Okay, that was weak. What I meant to say was that so much depends upon that ellipsis, hanging there, implying (wink, wink) that the author of the comment has 7 books in print, and fourteen others at home, being written by poetry elves all locked in a room with word processors and the complete works of John Ashbery.
AND the rest of us poetasters are stuck writing "chap" books, which is to say, they are not REAL.

WTF?
Ron's blog called her "real" book a "chapbook", which I was tryin' to clear up, why are you being such a tool?

because I am a jealous and bitter poetman!
oh, and because the fact that you make the distinction between "real" and "chap" kinda makes you a tool.
BUT, this is all in fun, NEG. I'm joking. It's all good. I'd even buy you a drink if I saw you.
Funny, I suppose that having written essays on the history of the chapbook & reviews of over 50 of them & having published 10 or so chapbooks by wonderful other poets is all to say that they're not valid, huh?
I, in fact, think the chapbook to be in many ways the best form for poetry...hence the "real" in quotes, as in, not my notion of the diff. of the form, etc...
Noah puts out great chaps thru Braincase. But that soul patch has got to go!
Orange hoodie anyone?
Why does everyone have to bring up the hoodie? Can't we just forget it already along with all the other stupid things I've done while drunk? And don't get me stared on my meth days!
Noah is a really great writer--thus his books. Plus, he has great taste in Hoodies.
